    • (Medical):Upon the 9th day of August, there went out afloat, soldiers to Canada in the year 1690, and the small pox was aboard, and three died of it, four were thrown overboard at Cape Ann. Corporal John Palmer, Isaac Thayer, Ephraim Copeland, Ebenezer Owen, Samuel Bass, and John Cheney were thrown overboard at Nantasket. [11]
